What to expect
Messages go to a real inbox that a person checks. We usually reply within a few working days, though a busy week can stretch that a little. If your message is about a bug, telling us which tool you were using, what you typed in and what happened instead makes it far quicker for us to reproduce and fix.
Tool suggestions are especially welcome. A good number of the tools already on the site started as a request from someone who needed one. The more specific you can be about the job you are trying to finish, the better the tool we can build for it.
Before you write
A few questions come up often enough that the answer is probably already on the site. If you are wondering whether we store what you paste into a tool, the short answer is no, and the long answer is in our privacy policy. If you want to know what cookies the site sets, that is covered in the cookie policy. Questions about how far our tools can be relied on for legal, medical or financial decisions are answered in the disclaimer.
If you are simply looking for a tool and cannot find it, try the search box at the top of the homepage or browse the full tool list. New tools are added regularly, so something that was missing last month may be there now.

We keep Tools In Pocket free by showing unobtrusive advertising. If you are interested in advertising with us, or you run a site or product that would genuinely help our visitors, pick the advertising option in the form and tell us what you have in mind. We are selective about anything that touches the visitor experience, but we do read every proposal.
