A PDF full of sideways pages is almost always a scanner's fault, and the frustrating part is that turning them in your PDF reader does not stick. The reader rotates the view; the file itself is unchanged, so the next person who opens it sees the same sideways pages. This tool changes the file. Turn everything or just the pages that are wrong, save it, and it stays fixed for everyone who opens it afterwards. It runs in your browser, so the scan, which is usually a document you would not upload lightly, stays on your machine.
How to use
- Drop in the PDF with the pages that are the wrong way round.
- Choose how far to turn: 90 degrees clockwise for a page lying on its side, 180 for one that is upside down.
- Choose whether to turn every page or only some. Most scans have a mix, so Only some pages is the common answer.
- If only some, list them the way you would say them: 1-3, 7.

Why use our rotate pdf?
Rotation is added to whatever the page already carries rather than replacing it. That sounds like a detail and it is the difference between working and not: a scanned page often already has a 90 degree rotation stored in it, so a tool that sets rather than adds leaves you exactly where you started, or worse, turns a correct page sideways. Here a page that is already at 90 and needs another 90 ends up at 180, which is what you asked for.
Being able to rotate only some pages matters because scanners rarely get every page wrong in the same way. A twenty page bundle where four pages went through the feeder sideways needs those four turned and the rest left alone, which is impossible in tools that only offer all or nothing. And because the change is written into the file rather than into a viewer's settings, it survives being emailed, printed and opened on somebody else's computer.
